Be The Change of IHB
Be the Change is a group of 7th graders inspired by the quote “Be the change you wish to see in the world.” While it started as simply putting up positive sticky notes around their intermediate school, Be the Change has turned into a much bigger kindness project for the entire town of Bryan, TX.
Mission
Our mission is to raise $10,000 through various events and profit shares for BCS Together’s The Haven to benefit children in the foster care system. This organization is very near and dear to our hearts because one of our founding members was in the foster care system. We want to carry on a legacy of supporting our community through hard times, focusing on the good, and trying to make the bad at least a little bit better than we found it.
Vision
To motivate others, both children and adults, to create a community with a reputation of being positive and kind by spreading kindness, love and acceptance to create a lasting positive change in our community.
